Goodbye Emails To Colleagues – Samples & Templates

Goodbye email is an informal message that you need to send to your colleagues, boss or clients notifying them of your departure.

Whatever may be the reason for leaving your job, it’s always advised to bid farewell on a positive note.

Here are few tips to draft your own goodbye email, often called as last working day email or farewell email;

  • Express gratitude towards your colleagues.
  • Make sure that you have mentioned your personal contact information for further communication.
  • Add a subject line to convey the nature of your message.
  • It’s always suggested to send a goodbye email on the last working days. However, you can also send it a few days before.
