Please find attached means you are saying that something is attached to your email which needs special attention from the recipient. 

Its like “please check the attached file”. It simply means you are sending the file for the reader’s inspection or analysis.

For example: you may say “please find attached a summary of our presentation”. Instead you can say “enclosed is a summary of our presentation”

If the main purpose of sending your email is to share an attachment, then you can use any one of the following alternative to “Please find attached”;

  • Please have a look at the attached [item].
  • Let me know if you have any questions about the attachment.
  • Kindly check the attached [item] given here below.
  • Please review the attached [item] here.
  • I’ve attached [item].
  • Please have a look at the attached [item].
  • The [item] you asked for is attached.
  • Please refer to the attached [item] for more details.
  • Take a look at the attached proposal.

Here are other simple alternatives to “Please find attached”;

  • I’m sharing [item] with you.

  • Please see the attached file.
  • Please check the attachment.

Better alternatives to “please find attached” while sending resume as an email attachment;

  • I have attached my resume for your consideration.
  • Let me know if you have any questions about my resume attached below.
  • I have attached my resume for your review.
  • You’ll find my resume attached below.
